Jazz Brunch Train

NEW THIS YEAR: Featuring the Ken Field Quartet

Sax player & composer Ken Field leads the Revolutionary Snake Ensemble, who entertained on the Amtrak Crescent train to Mardi Gras in New Orleans annually for 6 years.  A Truro resident, Ken is active with a variety of groups on Cape Cod and in the Boston area.  kenfield.org

Trombonist John Wolf is a former member of the legendary Roomful of Blues, and performs with Sugarcane Duquesne Redux and other groups.  In his spare time he is Chair of the Wellfleet Select Board.  (On September 13 the trombonist will be Dave Harris)

Bassist Leo Ludwig backs up such Cape Cod notables as Josh Ayala, Keb Hutchings, Mark van Bork, and Jordan Renzi.  He performed at the 2025 Woods Hole Film Festival with the band ARLO.

In-demand drummer Christian McCarthy has appeared with the Fred Clayton Band, Mike Flanagan & Lisa Bello, George Gritzbach, and others, and has performed at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Payomet Performing Arts Center, and First Night Chatham.  (On September 13 the drummer will be Kareem Sanjaghi.)
