Jazz Brunch Train
Join us for our Jazz Brunch Train and enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared 3-course meal and 2 ½ hour ride while listening to a talented trio of jazz musicians.
A talented and seasoned jazz trio, which features two Berklee College of Music alumni, will delight you with their enjoyable sound, as they play both upbeat and familiar jazzy standards like “Take the A Train”, “Caravan”, and “The Girl from Ipanema”. The “Vibes” uniquely emotional playing can be both heard and felt with great ballads like “Over the Rainbow”, “Georgia”, and “The Land of Make Believe”. These wonderfully rendered songs and more, will make your journey both exciting and memorable. John Shaw performs on various saxes and flute, Paul McWilliams on keyboards, and Martin Vazquez on percussion. Listen to “Fly Me to the Moon” and other classic tunes during your Jazz Brunch on the train and relax on the rails while you savor a delicious brunch.
Enjoy this tasty Sunday activity on a relaxing daytime ride around the Cape and you’ve got an activity for everyone in the family: kids, parents, and grandparents.
Climb aboard our vintage dining cars with Band Car, Premium or First-Class seating options. Imagine going back to the golden days of rail travel as you enjoy eating in classic rail style with a window view! The two-and-a-half-hour ride offers plenty of time for food and conversation as you travel through the serene beauty of the Cape’s salt marshes, and along the famous Cape Cod Canal. Our Jazz Brunch menu has several delicious options, including a vegetarian entrée and kid’s meal to suit everyone in your party.

Our Band Car, Premium or First-Class seating options feature white linen settings. In the tradition of railroad dining, our guests are seated in tables of four with members of the same party seated together. Larger parties are placed at adjacent tables.
The Band Car seats are located in a bar car. Seating for ages 21+ only. Our premium sound system enables ALL passengers to enjoy the music throughout the train.
Note: Please plan to arrive 45-minutes prior to departure to allow time to park and pick up your tickets. We begin boarding 30-minutes prior to departure and cannot hold the train for late passengers. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you aboard!
Advance reservations are required. A three-course meal and 2.5-hour train ride are included in the fare. Massachusetts Meal Tax is also included.
A full bar is available, and all beverages are sold separately.
Please note: The train departs in all weather.
*For parties of eight or more, an automatic 18% gratuity will be added to your bill to ensure that our hardworking server who waits on the group will be properly compensated (even if the customers decide to split the bill or want separate checks).
All tables, with the exception of Platinum class, are public by default. Groups of 1 or 2 may be seated with another party. You may guarantee a private table by purchasing the $30 “private table” option at checkout.
Requests to sit with other parties cannot be guaranteed, but we do our best to honor when possible. To ensure that you are all sitting together, you’ll need to add all guests to ONE reservation. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you aboard!
Handicap Accessibility: Due to the historic nature of our equipment, we can only accommodate wheelchairs that have a maximum width of 26 inches. ADA bathrooms are not available on dining trains. Seating in all classes is at tables which seat up to four people. Parties of 5+ on ONE reservation are guaranteed to be seated at tables directly adjacent to each other.
All tables, with the exception of Platinum class, are public by default. Groups of 1 or 2 may be seated with another party. You may guarantee a private table by purchasing the $30 (lunch & brunch trains) or $40 (dinner trains) “private table” option at checkout.
Bathrooms are available onboard and all train cars are climate controlled with air conditioning and heat.
First Class seats are located in vintage 1937 dining cars which have recently been beautifully remodeled, or in the lower level of dome cars in plush booth seats. Premium Class seats are in the upper level of a full-length dome car with panoramic windows. These plush booth style seats are elevated. The Lounge Car (ages 21+) exclusive seating is located in a vintage 1917 Club Car with four booths, lounge chairs, and a leather wrapped bar.
Full bar service is available in all cars. Servers will bring the beer, wine, and spirits to you.

Changing a Reservation
Please contact us at 888-797-7245 (option 3) or info@capetrain.com should you need to alter or cancel your reservation.Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a refund or may reschedule without penalty. Passengers cancelling within the 48 hour period may reschedule their ride or will receive a gift card that can be used on any excursion, dining, or Polar Express train ride.
Dining train cancellations within the 48 hour period will incur a penalty equivalent to the cost of the meal.Ticketing
You will receive a confirmation email shortly after your booking is processed. Upon arrival, please proceed to Will Call and provide the name on your reservation to receive your physical boarding passes and seating assignments. While you do not need to print your confirmation email, please have it readily available should we have trouble locating your reservation. -
Our staff is happy to assist passengers during the boarding process. At our Hyannis and Buzzards Bay Stations, wheelchairs are available to transport passengers to their railcar, as well as a ramp to a high-level platform for passengers who may have difficulty ascending the stairs to enter the railcar.

Courses that cannot be altered to accommodate the dietary need will be replaced with a fruit plate. Please note any allergies or dietary needs in the “comment” box when booking, along with the passenger’s meal choice.
